This is Stokes 3rd game in 6 days, our friendly with Rangers with mostly our 2nd team doesn't really count.

Win this we are into the q-finals. A Cup and Champions League place are most fans reasonable expectations this season.

Be interesting to see how Arsenal get on against Stoke today, though it's usually away to Stoke that Arsenal have struggled.

We know they are going to be physical and get plenty of crosses into the box along with Delaps throws.
I haven't seen much of Coates but he seems to have the physical attributes so looking forward to seeing if he gets a run out.

Chance of extra time and penos I would think.

This cup is priority for us so hope we can win in' 90 wins. Strong team out. We have far few games this season so this midweek game should should be grand especially with day extra rest over Stoke

 

I agree with that mate, sounds like just the type of game to see Coates involved to help defend against set pieces. Question is, who do you leave out - on the assumption JC must play, then it's JC & Coates right ?

We defo need to win this in the early stages though, last thing we need on the back of a couple of disappointing results, is to see this go into extra time or penos, but I know where your coming from with the comment nonetheless mate.

I expect a full strength team like the one that played against Utd, Kenny wants to win this cup, no way do i see Coates, Spearing or Maxi starting.

 

Be interested to see what team we put out but think Stoke will go near enough full strength.It will be a tricky one & extra time & even penos maybe well be needed.Still think we'll be in the hat for the next round home draw please.
