hi lads, have been on the site awhile, mostly just reading through posts etc. top site and congrats to all involved. ill tell ya my situation, i live in longford, and we have no supporters club in our town. local club is athlone and they meet first tuesday of every month. play alot of gaa so that always seems to colide with the meetings and wouldnt like them 2 just think oh this lad only here for the tickets only comes when he wants something. im a genuine supporter try to go to an avg 3 to 4 home games each season and its to frustrating having to have to continuously pay top dollar for tickets instead the face value.(how is it that the touts seem to have an never ending supply and genuine supporters get screwed. so basically just wondering has any1 any ideas whats the best thing to do, like no of any supporters club where u would be welcome etc. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks again
Get yourself a membership. It would get to you to 3 or 4 games no problem this season and even one or two aways. Hang around on this site, there always information on when tickets are on sale etc. there are often spares floating about although you need to read the ticket request rules. A lot of people on this site may have used touts in the past but I would say everyone who has been on the site for a long period of time has worked out you don't need to.
cheers for the reply lad. yeah i have 2 all red memberships but find for most the games i would want to go 2 i havent got the required requirements. but yeah sher will keep an eye out on site. thanks for the help
Anybody from any Supporters Club going to the OLSC Meeting t at Anfield,* on Saturday* 9th of November 2013
I believe we'll have someone in attendance. Think it's the third one we're involved in, I was at the last one a few years ago.
