Looking forward to this, could be the type of match and athmosphere to spark Andy Carroll into action. Probably too early for Gerrard to start but a 30 minute cameo at the end should be enough to see us over the line;)

Really rate Henderson but for me this is the type of game where Kuyt's industry is essential. I'd also play Spearing over Adam for this. Adam, with no time on the ball is much less effective and with tackles flying in I'd be worried about him picking up a yellow and then being forced to duck out of any challenges.

I'm sure Carroll will start but I'd like both Kuyt and Bellamy on the pitch

    ....................Reina

    Kelly........Cara.........Skrtel........Enrquie

    ...............Lucas.....Adam.........

    ...Bellamy......Kuyt.........Downing

    ...................Suarez

Need to play a higher line and keep it like a 5 man midfield , Would love to see Gerrard along side Lucas but expect Gerrard to come on for the last 30mins

Subs. Doni Coates Gerrard Carroll Henderson Flanagan Maxi

Watched them play Shitty this weekend, and I'm telling ya, they're a tough side!

What you need to break them apart, in my opinion, is a good, quick two-pronged attack, with some height & depth to it. Carroll and Suarez will surely fit in nicely in that gameplan, I'm sure.

I reckon Carroll will be playing in this game. This could be his turning point.

Id go with the team that started against wolves, except Kuyt for Henderson.

*‎- Martin Atkinson has been named referee for Everton v Liverpool on Saturday. No referee has given as many red cards since 2010-11 than Atkinson (14) & no Premier League fixture has seen more red cards than games between Liverpool and Everton (19) - six more than any other game.

Has a red card a high possibility must check paddypowers.
    Little comparison

We are 4 points better off after 6 games than last season and missed out on champions league by 10 points at this rate 4+ after 6 we should be very optimistic about a top 4 finish.
Arsenal who took the 4th spot are -4 after 6 games our other rivals spurs ate +1 after 5 games.
For comparison UTD are +4 and City +6
And the bitters are 5+ after 5 games

Just shows a settle side can do well but keep it up for the entire season will be a huge task.

Had Everton to be fighting a relegation battle this season but it's still early.

That puts us joint 3rd with UTD 2nd is Everton and City 1st.

With the amount of changes with us it is encouraging going forward .

Id go same team as the weekend but have Kuyt in for Henderson.

Hopefully we can keep a clean sheet and Andy Carroll can get himself a goal.

Liverpool were in 16th last season at this stage, while West brom were in 6th position.
West Brom are now in 19th and Liverpool in 5th.

So at least Roy is consistent :D

Find it amazing Roy is 2nd fav manager to keep his job after Ferguson

-6 points the worst comparsion after 6 games in the PL and he is 33-1 to be the next manager to Lose his job very tempted to bet on that except for kian at Blackburn

think Kenny will play Gerrard from the start, and Kuyt will be back in the team,he has had some great games v the blues.
This will be a tough match, but I fancy us to win 2-0,

like to think stevie carroll & suarez will all start for this 1, just hope we dont give as many free kicks around the edge of the box as we did v wolves because baines has a great shot.

I agree with that. This could be the game to get Andy up and running. This game in my opinion requires a strong, well disciplined defense and the games is certainly won in midfield for me, Adam may struggle with less time on the ball. maybe Spearing could play for 60 mins and replaced with Stevie and Bellers for Andy if he hasn't scored by then..
