Wolves are having a bit of a blip themselves after a solid start but also had a good win in the Carling Cup against Milwall. Blackburn 2-1 W Fulham 2-0 W Villa 0-0 D Spurs 2-0 L QPR 3-0 L Took a bit of a spanking off QPR so will be looking to bounce back but I think we can get a big result here on the back of tonight. It's a bit of a poison chalice starting a match thread round here lately (as poor Glen found out) Hoping we can get all 3 points and hope Stevie being back in the squad drives the boys on. We need to bench Andy and start Bellamy or kuyt alongside Luis I feel.Kellys expected return right back is a welcome one also.I'd be hoping we thump them but can't see it being a walk in the park for us either.

This would be my team except I dont expect Stevie to start, I think Adam will play for 60 mins and then stevie will come on.
I think Maxi is worthy of a starting place. He seems to bring the best out of Suarez and has been quaility in almost every game since the King returned. More worthy of a place than all but Lucas and Suarez in the front 6. I'd go for: Reina Kelly Carra Coates Enrique Maxi Lucas Adam Bellamy Kuyt Suarez Middle 2 hold there ground while the full backs bomb on and the top 4 interchange with each other. Also sends a message to Henderson and Downing that hiding is never accepted at this club.
I'd go with this team except it will be Adam in instead of Gerrard. I don't think we will see Stevie playing that deep under Kenny too much either. Get the captain on second half and maybe Andy too if needed. High tempo start we owe these bastids one, first game of the season for me, come on you redmen!
