Liverpool Football Club was today sending its best wishes to Ronnie Moran after the Liverpool legend was admitted to hospital. Moran, who has served as player, coach, assistant manager and manager during an illustrious Anfield career, was taken to hospital on Tuesday afternoon, where he is in a comfortable position. Everybody at Liverpool Football Club wishes Ronnie a speedy recovery and we look forward to seeing him back at Melwood as soon as possible.
Kenny Dalglish has paid a glowing tribute to Ronnie Moran following the news that the Liverpool stalwart had been admitted to hospital. The former Reds coach fell ill earlier this week and the boss was quick to wish him a speedy recovery. Dalglish said: "He's part of the fabric here, even now. He comes here two or three times per week to walk by what he calls his prison exercise yard, which is just by the walls here at Melwood. "He wasn't feeling great so that's the best place (hospital) for him. "We've been assured that he's very comfortable. Although he's not 100 per cent, he's not too bad. "Ronnie's been a fantastic part of this football club for almost as long as he has been alive. Let's hope he has a few more years in him yet. It's great to see him when he comes here. "He knows how much the club respect him and care for him."
