I've been thinking of getting one of these bad boys. Has anyone got one? Can anyone tell me is it possible to stream the matches on them like you can with a PC? Ta
Woould be interested in views of this too...missus wants one for Chrimbo...are there better tablets out there or is this just the latest fad gadget?
There are better out there for less. It's just a fad, if it was made by any other company it wouldn't sell as many. There are lots on here who own tablets, so I will leave them give feedback first. I can post later some of the better tablets. But i'll only be going purely from spec, and a few smal hands on experiences.
Thanks for that, I was thinking the same, it just like having the latest handbag or shoes...it just another accessory!
Here's a good review and comparison of the iPad and the Galaxy Tab iPad you can only do what Apple want you to do, you will need to convert all your music and videos to the correct format, most other tablets will allow you to watch all movies no matter their format on them. Customisation, usb ports, removeable storage, more RAM. Better front and rear cameras. Video and sound quality. the list goes on in favour of the Galaxy and in favour of other tablets over the iPad Most other tablets out perform the iPad. I would most definitely go with something else given its outrageous price. The Archos 101 is my favorite tablet used south on here has a very good tablet that I would recommend. Notion Ink's Adam Clicky! Think theres an Adam 2 coming out in December also. Also the HP TouchPad if you get one could have great potential. Android is the way forward, so if getting one I would Highly recommend any tablet with Android over the iPad2. You will save a sloid fortune for starters. Then theres free apps, customization. Free to watch what you like, flash player, streaming from all sites. etc etc etc. Now back to work methinks. If you've any questions let me know.
Does android have any learning tools when compared to the ipad? I know there's a few schools that use the ipad in Ireland which I believe works off 'itunes u' but i've never heard of android having anything to compete with like this...........anyone know if that is the case?
I bought a 16 g hanspree pad online last week for €200 and I'm more than happy with it. A poor man's iPad it may be but it does everything I want it to do.there's a micro SD slot on it too so I can expand the memory if I want. It's the fcukin business for watching liveonlinefooty on. They have them in Harvey Norman for €250 if you don't like buying online..
Don't think so Shay The special needs school my niece goes to uses ipads and I'd say of there was a cheaper option on android with the same capabilities , they would defo have them for cost purposes My sis was telling me some of the stuff that they (the kids) can do via the ipad is amazing.
might be worth keeping an eye on this sure Willie. hannspad.fr/forum/ its a French site but I think a lot of posts in the forum are in English. Also Tabletroms.com is another handy site

That's a good price for a decent tablet (be nice if you could flash Honeycomb or ICS onto it). For the life of me cannot find a review. Anyone?
I was in hmv in Henry street earlier and they had archos tablets half price at €150. They look decent enough but I don't know how good they actually are..
