What kind of a boll0x is Lawrie Sanchez. Read this article on BBC. Complete disrespect for a fellow Manager. Some of the comments I've highlighted in bold I find incredible.

The NI fans want rid of Worthington, but its not a manager they want but a miracle worker-the players are just not good enough-.NI as you all know is a very small country with little money pumped in to football at grassroots level.Problems are further compounded by young players wanting to play for ROI(thats another debate).
Don't even mention a Utd Ireland side or a British side!
Anyhow Worthington will see out his contract because the IFA can't afford to sack him-I think it ends in December.
Sanchez walked out on NI before to take the Fulham job,and look how that worked out.
I think having said that he would be the popular choice to replace Worthington and probably will.

It's bang out of order to call for a fellow manager to lose his job but to then throw you're own name in for the same job is disgraceful.

Spot on and it shows a total lack of respect for the current manager and his regime. The last thing he should be talking about, it taking some one else's job.

Hope he gets the job because there won't be much he can do either with such a limited squad and it will give worthington a chance for revenge. His comments are cowardly and disrespectful.

I agree. You can shine a turd but its still a turd.

NI have practically no players of any note, when he was there before they went on a bit of a flukey run and made him look good and then he walked out on them but the chances of that happening again are about winning the euro millions level.

I dont know why he says he would like to finish what he started, he walked away from a secure job its not like he was forced to abandon them.

What an absolute prick. If I were Nigel, I would box the head off him, then laugh at him. Who in their right mind would say such things.

Shouldn't imagine anyone on here would have anything good to say about Lawrie Sanchez after that Wimbledon FA Cup final goal against us. He was thinking what everyone else is thinking but when you are a manager you need to stay together, it's a fickle world!

Nothern Ireland international football equals pub team. There are truely woeful and if Warren Feeney is the second best striker in the North then we are in a world of shite! The performance against those world beaters Estonia was absolutely abysmal and the only ones to come out of that game with credit had to bloody pay to watch it!! The IFA need to seriously look at where they see the national team and if we are to be the next Andorra then lets just give the job to any numpty without any credentials. Come on surely we deserve better than this?

Totally prick, felt for Wortington today as he has resigned but he didnt look to blame anyone and when Sanchez was metioned Wortington was dignified in his response, I know what i would say if he was me. Northern Irish fans live in potty land, the results are what they are because they have all crap players, total unrelastic expectations.

I keep hearing that Worthington stepped down, but surely his contract ends after the Italy game.
NI fans are like any football fans they think a change of manager brings a change of fortune.
