Just arrived in Eindhoven this morning, looking to get to the match on friday at the Philips stadium but on the Internet it says that the tickets are sold out.Anyone have any ideas on any other sources that might have them available/or places to try/,i could always just wait outside the stadium before hand as a last resort in any case, any suggestions welcome, cheers

Might be worth taking a trip up to the stadium today to see if they have any returns at the ticket office. I am sure they will be able to tell if any any are likely to return between now and Friday.

Dutch fans unlike the irish are very passionate about their county when it comes to football.

Plus the tickets are probably half price of what they are at the Aviva.

I think that comment could be a touch unfair. In better economic times the old Lansdowne was always sold out for all games (including friendlies.)

    Completely wrong

    Correct

What the irish fans dont like is being charged €40 a ticket for 6 friendly games a year, the fai are taking the michael now, in bygone years we had a maximum of 2 home friendlies now we are being overloaded with games as the fai try to pay for the aviva and most decent match going fans are sick of them

I lived in Holland for about 18 months and they are mad into the national team. Although it is fair to say the FAI rips us off.

Went to stadium yday and today to see about returns-no luck,i'll try again 2morrow before the game starts for a few hours and if I have no look it's straight down to O Shea's Irish pub for the slovakia match-not a bad substitute i guess
