We are going into the game full of confidence but Stoke is never an easy place to get 3 points.I think we should just about edge it.Lets hope all our players return from international duty unscathed.

Its a game for on the ground football, Carroll on the bench. Tough place to go and get a win but if we play quick attacking football we'll beat them.
International break is coming at the worst possible time for us! Hopefully all players return safe! Play the same 11 as today ( if Kelly is fit ) and take these to the cleaners! We play the football we did today and I expect to Win 3-0 or 3-1
Need to win it dont care if its 1-0 or 10-0 pretty or ulgy if we play with the same intensity as we did yesterday we will reduce them to set pieces and throw ins.
Have we won at this ground yet since they were promoted. Tinker of a place to go to. Watching Liverpool yesterday was a joy to watch best we played since Villa 5-0 or Madrid 4-0. We can beat this Stoke team just have to wait and see what injuries we pick up next week if any. Any word on Kelly?? Raul and Gerrard should be in contention for this.
If we could get our first 3 points at Stoke since they came into the Premier League would be a massive win I believe going into the Spurs game the week after.
Id love to see Gerrard back on the bench for this one. Id say it's killing him not being involved under Kenny because it's definitely the style of football he'd thrive in. And if anyone deserves to enjoy his football for us,it's him. A win here would set us up well for the spurs game and then even a draw there would leave us in great shape. 11 points from 15 and still unbeaten would be a great return from those fixtures. A fella in work said to me that if we make it through the first 5 games unbeaten,he thinks we'll win the league. I don't agree with him but I would love to be wrong
in anyway getting back on topic i think if we get 4 points from this one and spurs away will be a good return i think it will be tight but playing like today i think we can win
It's interesting, I think the next 4 games in the league we lost the corresponding fixtures last Year !!!! They'll need to keep up the current form to beat Stoke away. They're very tricky at home. I'd actually start Carroll and Kuyt, this one will be a right battle. Any chance Gerrard will be back ? I'd take a draw and keep up the unbeaten momentum to be honest. Stoke are unbeaten in 3 games in the league, including 2 tricky away games and with Huth, Shawcross, Upson and Woodgate they have serious defenders. They are going to be top 10 this season I reckon. I'd rest Henderson and keep Suarez on the bench for when the game gets stretched. Stoke will try to kick the shite out of him if he starts.
