Anybody else struggling with there plan data wise,I am not sure if its me and I am a heavy user.I am on meteor bill pay,30 a month for 200 min 200 texts & 1 gig.Now the min & text are grand most of the time I have a bit left over.

But the data is another thing,I am avenging about 90/100MB a day.The last couple of months I have had to turn of the data for a couple of days near the end.Today I rang them to see if there is a add on,here is what I can get...

    20 cent per MB
    4,99 for 250MB
    14,99 for 15G

Now nothing there suits me as I would only need another Gig or 2.So how much data are you lot getting through a month..?

I get 2 gig with mine, and mostly ever use just under a gig, but anytime I'm at home I'm using wifi. In saying that I only use mine for emails, twitter, an hour of browsing at lunch and when I'm on the piss. Otherwise i'm on the laptop or using wifi.

Is that bill pay lite or are you on contract. Either way I would get out when you can. Three are offering all you can eat data on PAYG for e20 a month (also minutes and texts in that).

I am currently bill pay lite with meteor on e20 a month for 200min and texts. I rang to cancel and they game me 10gb a month for nothing. My other half rang to cancel and they are giving her 200 min and texts a month for e15 (no data). Both bill pay lite.

Move up to the plan Im on

400 mins 400 texts free meteor to meteor and 2gb data

That way you are only paying 2.50 a week for the extra gb plus the extra mins and texts

    40 quid

I never go over the data

The all yoy can eat data is obly until December with 3. So watch out, they will charge you extra, as you have to opt out.of it.

Paul you should try close down all your apps and notifications. Might save you some data . I'm on the same plan as you and constantly on my phone but max i would use would be 600-800 a month.

Thats something to conceder alright, but I am only 3/4 months into a 18 month contract.

Thats another option alright,in saying that it would be a huge waste min & text wise but would workout cheaper.

I have been trying that with some success but its still a struggle.

This might be another option for you, but you could knock the data off when your not using the phone.
