lads, need a bit of help. basically i have an iphone 4, got it from three ages ago, jailbroke and unlocked it, went to meteor pay as you go, now have went back to three pay as you go and ported my number over but am only getting no service on it, rang three and they said it should be up and running. do i update the phone locking it back to three and hopefully the new sim works or restore or go back to meteor?
You might need to put in the three settings.Orginally when you were with Meteor you would have put in the meteor settings in order to get your interent working.Now that you are with three you will probabally need to put them in instead.
What Ron said but if your getting no service you are wither using the wrong sim card or your number didnt port correctly
no i didnt change any internet settings when put in meteor sim, just used wifi. i cant get any phone signal at all, telling me the 3 network is restricted.
right sim card three said it ported as they have the number i think it has something to do with when i unlocked it, afraid if i update and it locks it again and i still cant use it then i wont be able to go back to meteor.
yeah its unloced, have been using a meteor sim in it for the last 7 months, bought it from 3 on bill when times were good but had to give that up so unlocked and went pay as you go on meteor, liked the look of 3's pay as you go package so decided to get it today and now have nowt.
I remeber when i changed from meteor pay as you go till bill and i had to get a mirco sim, it took a few hours to port over.Maybe that could be it.
