I wish we would sack Poulsen.Surely he must have done something
that merits a good sacking.Didn't hear the Bullard story but I would
imagine they wanted to get his wages off the books.

I can confirm that the Club has given notice to terminate the contract of Jimmy Bullard. Mr Bullard has a right of appeal and it would be inappropriate to make any further comment at this time that might prejudice this process.

The Club will continue to focus on the development and performance of the squad going forward and is concentrated on efforts to deliver a positive season on and off the pitch for the Tigers.

We respect that there will be significant interest in this matter but will continue to act with professionalism and at all times in the best interests of the Club.

Wonder did he pull this old chestnut again but would probably of had to
have done something more serious to get the boot.

I'd imagine he's probably their highest earner and they were looking for an excuse to get rid. If he gave them a reason by turning up pissed, then he's a silly man. The PFA will be all over this though and I'll be suprised if he's not reinstated in the end. If he claimed to be an alcoholic then theyd have to help him as far as I know. I've seen fellas in my own job who were going to be sacked pull that one.
