In the mirror today,they have agreed to pay him damages for libel and his reasonable legal costs.
Basically they wrongfully claimed that he was secretly interviewed for the lpool job,that he had lost the villa dressing room which forced him to resign and that that the players celebrated when he left.
Delighted for him..

Always nice to see a paper admit they publish Bullshit 99% of the time.If more people took action like this, we might stop having to read crap.

Yeah.Delighted for him.You can blame the rags for publishing the rubbish but a large portion
of blame has to go to the public for wanting to read it.

But saying that, this will no doubt highlight and advertise the paper, cant see there be too many people being put off buying and reading these lies in future but a win is a win

 

Just out of interest, what newspapers (if any) do the majority of people on here read?

 

Used to read the Indo myself but am now moving towards the Irish Times.My cousin writes for them.

 

Doesn't fancy putting in a good word for me does he?? haha

 

Stuff for them I never read them at all, I think that the only trustworthy bit of any tabloid paper is the horoscopes
