    saw irishkop mentioned on a few of the boards.ie football forums so decided to sign up... good to see so many irish pool fans, seems like we are a dying breed... dont see too many kids in pool jerseys any more - its all chelsea, city and united :mad:

    Spot on. And when it's so obvious you're wrong that you can't defend you're point anymore,just avoid that thread like the plague. You never know,something might happen in the meantime that adds wait to your argument,then it's time to bump the shit out of that thread with a little smug"I told you so" post.

    Don't be too controversial too early either. What I done was saw what way the wind was blowing and went with the majority. The last thing you want to do is use your second or third post to gnaw the bollox of someone with 5,000 posts. But don't leave it too long to get going or you'll end up like me. I've forgotten how to form my own opinion. I've picked 3 or 4 people and if I feel like a debate I just disagree with every word they say.
