I have an old nintendo Wii lying around the house and I was going to start using it as a web browser,the original controller that came with it is broke. Me brother told me a control pad from a game cube will work on it,I've tried that but all I get is this on the screen and I can't go any further. What control pad would I need to get for this so it works properly? I won't be playing games on it so something cheap and cheerful will do,just something to move the cursor around the screen and select various things. I seen a control pad in Argos for €17.99,would that do the job?
Grand Thanks mate. So was the brother wrong about the gamecube controller working on it yeah? Tried 3 of the fcukers and none of them would work. Do ye know if ye can watch liveonlinefooty through the Wii browser?
Not gotta actual wii remote?? Aint tried that footie one but got mine softmodded and watch movies/tv over the network on it. I think that plugs into the wii remote btw. Gamecube ones go into the wii. But never used either. Only got the actual remotes here myself
Nah they're was a remote for it but It's banjoed. Ah I'll go in to one of the computer shops in town and see what the story is.
Theres a couple of games can get the contoller included with. Maybe the new controller with wii play motion. But thats the new controller with the motion plus integrated (I've the old ones with the lil bit ya add at the bottom & can't keep it on for addin the control in a wheel/accessories) Also sure you know can stick a keyboard in the USB port at the back for web browsin. Dunno bout a mouse though. Maybe try see if it works. Just used a old one the odd time used it on mine. Wish hadda small neat one though cba forkin out on another one though.
