Liverpool Beat Spanish Rivals to Signing of Prodigy Striker Liverpool have beaten stiff competition from Spain to secure the signature of highly-rated youngster Nacho, according to reports in Spain. The Albacete striker enjoyed a successful trial with the Reds recently and grabbed himself a brace during the under-18s 8-0 thrashing of Stevenage. http://www.sportsvibe.co.uk/news/fo...sh-rivals-to-signing-of-prodigy-striker-9539/ Also Bueno is on the way too - pre-contract signed appearently. This Nacho lad looks unreal in the U18s. Unreal technique and confidence.
I can see the " Bueno Nacho " headlines already Seriously it's great we are entering in as a serious force with regards to attracting these youngfellows. We weren't doing it for Years for some ridiculous reason, which frankly was stupid. Dalglish doesn't miss a trick, he's been brilliant and Liverpool FC is a massive draw.
It's great to see us snap up the brightest young players. Our youth system must be the envy of the rest of Europe at the moment.Long may it continue.
Sterling, Suso, Adjoran, Gulácsi, Silva, Pacheco even Shelvey and Wilson, If anything it's one of the decent things we've been doing.
Reds snap up young striker http://www.eatsleepsport.com/liverpool/reds-snap-up-young-striker-1246173.html Last Updated: Mon, 25 Jul 2011 10:59 Reports coming out of the USA suggest that Liverpool have signed 18-year-old striker Villyan Bijev from Cal Odyssey. Bijev has been on trial at Liverpool, scoring four goals in two matches for the under 18's, including a hat-trick against Stevenage Borough. Although there has been no official announcement as yet from Liverpool, a Californian TV station has reported that Bijev has agreed a three year deal at Anfield. Bijev, a US under-18 international, is expected to be immediately loaned out to Racing Genk, the defending Belgian champions. I don't know how reliable this source is, but I've seen this lads trial performance for Liverpool last week, he scored a hat trick and played a big part in another two more goals and he only played the first half http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/lates...atch-goals-now
http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896...-close-to-signing-mexican-starlet-marco-bueno There is also the possibility of Pachuca and Liverpool developing a sporting partnership, with Liverpool coaches visiting the Mexican club to mentor young players.
Bueno Has signed a pre contract due over on the 13th ? on a 10 day trial and if all goes well he will sign a 5 year contract
Mentioned above in this thread is Villyan Bijev. Has he been signed and loaned out to Genk? Anyone know?
Haven't seen any confirmation Pg2 http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/live...l-fc-pre-contract-deal-video-100252-29125703/ Liverpool are also set to announce the signings of fellow teenage strikers Villyan Bijev and Nacho. USA Under-18s international Bijev is expected to pen a three-year contract. The 18-year-old from California impressed while on trial at Kirkby earlier this month as he netted five goals in two games. Reports in America suggest Bijev, who holds a Bulgarian passport, will spend this season on loan at Racing Genk to gain valuable experience. His agent Steve Kelly expects him to make a big impression with the Belgian champions. He said: “Everybody cuts their teeth in the second team. (Liverpool) would be very surprised if he wasn’t in the first team by the end of the season.†Young forward Nacho has also been on trial with the Reds in pre-season and scored twice in the recent 8-0 rout of Stevenage. Reports in Spain suggest a permanent deal has now been agreed with Albacete. Liverpool are believed to have paid £150,000 up front with a further £350,000 of potential add-ons, plus a 15% sell-on fee. Villarreal had also made an offer for Nacho, while Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Malaga were all reportedly interested
