What do you think of this fellas??

I think he gives them far too much respect. Firstly they dont and have not always played with a 9/10 up top, how often is Rooney pushed wide? The point he makes about the money really sticks in my craw also "They've spent loadsa money, so have we". I disagree here, we have spent money like that intermittently while they have continuously broken the British transfer record. Only now are we spending this money regularly. They had a monopoly on big players demanding large transfer fees for years and I find it hilarious to hear my mates moan about Chelsea and City.

One point I will agree with is the one he makes on Giggs. Many an argument I have gotten in saying that he never lived up to the hype and was slightly better than average for large chunks of his career.

I dont think he ever lived up to the hype. He was brilliant for a couple of years when he first came on the scene but he was soon sussed by alot of teams and was nowhere near as effective towards the end of the 90's and into the 00's. Thats why I said slightly above average (maybe a bit harsh) for large parts of his career. He was brilliant last year, no doubt.

Didn't read it, as a Liverpool ( happy now Gerry!) fan of 34 years, growing up I never gave them any kind of praise/respect, whatever you wanna call it, & I'm certainly not going to start now! Them, their fans & their manager are just CNUTS, simple!

Funny how all United fans forget the period from the start of the last decade up to about 06 when Giggs was no more than average and they lamented never cashing in and selling him abroad and their constant references to him never living up to his potential. They all forget he became a boo boy around the time he missed an open goal at V Arsenal in the FA Cup and they all wrote him off as someone that needed to be replaced. Of course amnesia sets in when you ever mention this to a Manc
