Irish Open this week in Killarney Golf & Fishing Club. Strong Irish representation in the field with all the big names playing. Will we see a home winner?

McIlroy 5-6/1 in most places thats very short.

Betting Zone on Sporting Life go with Lowry & Wood.

Last year Gonzalo Fdez-Castano finished top 5 and hasnt played since February due to injury but makes his return this week, at 100/1 that could be a steal but whether it takes a few weeks to get back into it has to be taken into consideration before backing him.

Anybody have any tips/selections for this?

Simon Dyson for me at 25/1.Chris Wood at 40/1 could be a decent e/w bet.

Fisher leading at -4 . Rory didn't do too well. Fell apart on the back 9. Double bogey on the last.
