Which players do you think has preformed best so far in pre season friendlies, you honest opinion Here's mine 1. Aquilani 2. Adam 3. Downing (Although he's only played half a game he looked the part to me)
Aqualani, hands down. Theres been a few who have been better than Adam too, wouldn't have him in the top 3.
Lads i think we should wait till the Valencia game to discuss this. Like every pre season the last few games there are less changes made during the games and you can get a good look at players fitness and desire for the coming season.
well we're half way though our pre season friendlies now so you should have formed some kind of opinion it's just to gauge what people are thinking
I wouldn't read too much into the 1st 3 games to be honest.I remember a few years ago when Voronin was the stand out performer at this stage of the pre season preparations.Aquiliani has definitely been the best player so far but mightn't be playing for us when the Sunderland game comes around.
I asked the question now because in the next 3 friendlies I think that some players will be getting less and less time on the pitch while others will get more
Aqualani definitely been the most positive. Downing looked bright vs Hull but would like to see more of him first!
Having seen all three games, I don't think there has been one stand out player that has been eye catching. Adam looked decent in his two games. Was suprised at downing against hull. Thought he was one of our better players. Also flanno didn't take the hull game as a friendly.
A couple of the challenges he made on Saturday were fierce. And he made a couple of runs down the right. Can't fault the boys commitment.
Aqualani has been decent, but Flanagan has been more impressive IMO. Downing looked OK and Adam has been average so far, as said the next three games will tell
Four games gone now and it's still Aqualani for me, I doubt we'll see much more of him now as I don't think Kenny wants him, pity though as he's a quality player
