Liverpool have today confirmed that Peter Gulacsi has joined Hull City on loan. The Hungarian goalkeeper, who arrived at Anfield in 2008, has also signed an extension to his current contract and moves to the KC Stadium until June 30,*2012. Gulacsi spent part of last season on loan at Tranmere Rovers but*has yet to feature for the Reds' first-team in a competitive match.
Yeah I'd like to see him play normally he wouldn't be allowed but because it's a friendly it could happen
A quick scan on their site shows they only have one first team keeper - Mark Oxley, his wiki page says he's only made three pro appearances, all of them were on loan at Grimsby. Hopefully that means Gulacsi will go straight in as number 1 there.
Did anyone watch him in the Toulon tournament last month.I heard he put in some outstanding performances. The season long loan will do him good.
Good for Hull good for Peter & he'll be playing a Good standard of football so all in all it's good.Wish him all the best for the season.
I wonder will he be the No 1 Keeper there. If he is it will do him the world of good as im sure he will get alot of experience with Hull's defence.
You cant really tell another team if you send a player on loan with them that he has to play.He could end up been a back up keeper though.
i dont see the point in loaning him out to be back up the kid needs to play id rather keep him at the club if thats the case
Yes i agree with that theory in Principal,But as i said that doesnt mean it will Happen.Look at Eccleston last seaon at Chartlon. He didnt play the whole time.Or what about Pacheco at Norwich.Once again he only played a handful of games. Doest work like that the whole time Glen.
yeah i know im just keeping my fingers crossed that he gets the no.1 jersey and gets a full season playing
Just been looking at their Squad online, and the only other Keeper they have in their Senior Squad is a Mark Oxley who is only 20, So it may well be that Peter gets the No 1 Jersey and his chance of abit of first team football and abit of expereince too. Also i noticed that donkey Paul McShane is one of their so called defenders so he will have a field day clearing up after him.
its up to him to impress pre season so he starts no.1 with paul mcshane in defence he will have a lot of work to do
