    Anyone following this years WSOP? An Irish lad called Eoghan O'Dea has gone very deep in it, second in chips with 22 left from a starting 6865. Most people into poker will know who Eoghan is, very talented player. Hope he goes all the way in this, nice money either way!!

    He just made it to the November 9, guaranteed at least $780k plus a load in sponsorship i'd say

    Yeah me too, they try to make a second event out of it but I don't think it works, although if i was in the final 9 I wouldnt mind a good break at this stage

    Yeah but they all get paid the minimum amount now as far as I know and can use the time getting ready for the FT.

    Wonder what would happen if one of them was in hospital when the November came around - just be blinded out I suppose? I'm sure they have to sign contracts that cover all eventualities.

    It is a long time to wait though!

    It also gives all the players a long time to study up on the other players.

    I agree lads - changing the main event to having the final table later was a terrible decision. All done for TV though.

    What poker sites do you guys play? I was on Full Tilt. Only played with the play money, but fancy giving it a go for real now. nothing big. Just small punting to play poker. Like to play in tournaments and sit n go's

    I just play paddy power poker.
    You can enter freeroll games every night at half 7
    At least your not losing money playing the feerolls

    and can you put money into your accout without having a credit card? Can you put monet into your account through the shop?
