hi everyone.i got civilization 4 for the pc yesterday installed it and by the looks of things my graphics card isnt up to speed for it and neither os my sound one.how do i find out what graphics card i have and how would i go about getting more power into it???im brutal at this sort of thing but i love my strategy games and im really peed off i cant play it right
Try start>control panel>performance and maintenance>see basic info about your computer...and you should find the info you want there...

What kind of PC is it? Is it a "self build" or a Dell/HP or other manufactured brand? To be fair, Civ4 shouldn't be that taxing on any hardware of the last twelve to sixteen months.
If it's a Dell or other post the make and model so I can see the specs ;)

its a fujitsu siemens scaleo j bought it under two year ago anyway.i was on the civ site last night talking to a mod and sent him some stuff that comes up when you type dxdiag in the run screen.he said ive a 32mb video card and thats the reason but i downloaded a patch for the game and have it working fine now so far

Glad you got it working. You might also want to download the newest drivers from here (http://support.fujitsu-siemens.com/com/support/linkapplication.html?LNG=EN&ID=2814).

checked said link and ive no updates to download whats happening now is i try to load the game and the whole pc turns off and restarts guess im stuck with civ 3 till i can upgrade the pc
