Really looking forward to this, starts thursday. Gonna have a few little e/w bets on some outsiders, but tis a brave soul to back against Rory. Hes best price 8/1 and plays his opening two rounds with Ernie Els and Ricky Fowler.

Luke Donald also in crackin form and both their games will be suited to this course.

Jason Day has been runner up in the last two majors and is priced 40/1, but im contemplating having a piece of the handicap on offer from PP. He gets a four shot lead and thats at 11/1. Decisions decisions.....

Who do ye's fancy for the claret jug?

Yeah Jason Day seems to be a popular bet. Will have to stick a e/w bet on him. Might do G Mac as well will have to look at his odds.

    Matt krucher
    Sergio Garcia
    Gmac

All small €1 ew bets but if any of them come up it covers my bets and hopefully keeps an interest for the weekend!

    Still contemplating a bet on

    PP paying 7 places

He seems to only do it in Majors.I backed him in the John Deere and he only just about made the cut.I might have a nibble on him e/w anyway.

I'm going to have a sentimental bet on Westwood at 11/1 and Luke Donald will also be there or there abouts also at 11/1.Rory is too short a price at 7/1 and hasn't played for a few weeks. He certainly would have to be fancied but you could get a better price on him after day 1.A couple of e/ws Adam Scott at 55/1,YE Yang at 80/1 and Robert Rock at 150/1.Going to look at it closer this afternoon.

Had a good bet on Westwood last week at 11/1, you can get 12/1 with Ladbrokes though now and I had a saver on Luke Donald at 14/1. I really hope Westwood does it, would be a disaster if he never won a major.

I know I should be really backing Rory after him doing me a huge favour in the US Open but after being on at 22/1 there the 7/1 at the moment isn't so appealing.

Done a couple of bets for this, nothing to big, just enough to keep you interested and hopefully get one or two placed to get your money back on at least.

    Stricker 35/1
    Watney 35/1
    Goosen 50/1
    Jacobsen 80/1
Fowler 100/1 (hopefully being out with McIlroy makes him up his game)
Marino 175/1 (Just for the craic)

At 45/1 he's definitely worth an e/w bet.

Have done Mickelson, Donald and Scott with decent bets to win.

Also Fran Molinari at big odds.

Fook me, wonder why he was only 66 yesterday and 100 today? Surely they will have to give me the 100 price?

GMc worth a tenner each way in my opinion. Played well last week except for one hole where he hit a 9! Well used to links courses and knows how to win a major. McIlroy is too small a price by far buy if he plays like he did in us open he'll be hard to beat

If I were you I would ring them before Thursday and ask them if they will give you the better odds. They're usually fair like that.
