The AT & T National starts later today. It's usually played at Congressional but will be played at Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania this year for obvious reasons. At over 7000 yards,it's a long par 70 with just 2 par 5s.Apparently it's one of the toughest courses on the PGA tour.It should make for a good weekends viewing.
As for betting Adam Scott with his straight hitting could be well suited to the course so I'm going to back him at 28/1.Also Tommy 'Two Gloves' Gainey could be a decent e/w bet at 80/1.He has had some decent finishes of late and I reckon it's only a matter of time before he wins a PGA event.

Any other tips folks? I do like the longer outsider bets for the craic.

I backed Charles Howell EW at 45/1 with VC. They are only going 5 places EW but Ladbrokes go 6 places in shops. You need to get on soon if you are betting, I think it starts at noon our time.

I went with Choi, Gay, Ogilvy and Vegas.

All small stakes for an interest.

Adam Scott going well at the moment.2 under after 5 and 1 shot off the lead.Still early days but it looks as though the course is providing a good test.

Brian Gay could be a good e/w bet at 40/1 if you fancy it.He has being do well of late and he is 1 under after 4.I reckon he will make the weekend anyway.

Looks like Scott will place, had him e/w at 28's so happy days.

KJ is a rock double bogey to birdie, never loses the nerve, anyone who backed him is unlucky...

Got my EW bet on Howell up at 45/1. Very happy with that.
