Gian Piero Gasperini will be the new Inter coach. President Massimo Moratti, currently out of Italy, confirmed his "full satisfaction with the choice" and, together with the entire club, wishes Gasperini "the success that brought Inter the title of world champions." The official announcement will come as soon as the final bureaucratic formalities are completed and, in that moment, the date of his presentation to the press will be announced as well. Gasperini, 53 years old, will sign a two-year contract. He will work with the Nerazzurri staff already present, along with two new collaborators: assistant Bruno Caneo and athletic coach Luca Trucchi. Never heard of him.
Wasnt he Genoa manager when Milito was playing for them.If he was thats when Genoa were playing some of the sexiest football in seria A in a long time.It will be also a good move for Milito, as he got the Best out of him at Genoa, where he was top scorer that season in Seria A.He done really well with Genoa getting them to fifth and they got into Europe too.
Strange that Rafa Benitez got sacked for winning that title for them, and now Morratti hires a new fella and wishes him the succes of it Good appointment none the less,.
Reading about him, as Ron says at Genoa they were meant to have played some great football but he spent big with them in the summer and then they had a awfull start to the season so he got the chop. @ Eric, was thinking that alright and wanted to see if anyone else would notice.
