RSS Feeds Sports Management and Entertainment agency Triple S have sensationally claimed that LFC have 'agreed a fee' and 'terms with the player's representatives' for the transfer of Wigan winger Charles NZogbia. Launching a countdown to an "exclusive" announcement at 7pm U.K. time on the social networking site Twitter, Triple S went on to state: "Ladies & Gents, the identity of the mystery player that Liverpool Football Club have agreed personal terms with is Charles N'Zogbia. "A fee has been agreed with Wigan, personal terms have been agreed with the player's representatives & the player will undergo a medical and sign a contract when he returns from holiday. The deal is not yet 'official' but subject to a medical being passed, N'Zogbia will be a Liverpool player." The Triple S Sports Twitter account, which has close to 4,000 followers, was immediately subject to a throng of questions about the legitimacy of the statements, especially since no official statement from either club has been forthcoming. N'Zogbia himself was a large part of the reason that Wigan survived relegation from the Premier League this season, chipping in with 9 league goals in 34 games, as well as countless assists. Formerly of Newcastle, N'Zogbia can play on either flank or behind a forward and though is blessed with pace and trickery, found consistency in performances something of a problem during his early days. Damien Comolli, Liverpool's Director of Football, and Kenny Dalglish the club manager have both been in attendance at Wigan games over the past six months and speculation raged for some time over who they were watching; as well as N'Zogbia, James McCarthy and Hugo Rodallega were put forward as names linked with the Reds. Whether or not the revelation on Twitter proves to be true or not remains to be seen, but if you believe the news then Charles N'Zogbia seems one step closer http://www.lfc.tv/news/media-watch/liverpool-agree-nzogbia-fee-agency-claims
Correct, more twitter bullsh.it. Would love us to sign him but not a chance this crowd know anythin we don't, how could they? Can't find any info even about the source, are they a made up company?
Surely they can be counted!! I refuse to make a judgement until i see evidence of these assists!! I like exclamation marks!
Getting into the stats now? Would be class signing, would have any of Mata, Nzogbia or Downing without doubt.
i refuse to believe we have signed anyone till i see him standing beside the king with the scarf held aloft and even then i will still have doubts
I learnt from the best After watching mata in the U21 championship and afew times for valencia id take him over the three,i know its only U21 bt he looks a diffrent class and at the age of only 23 hes improving all the time, id be happy with any of the above do..
So there you go. Whoever wrote that article at the start of the thread can't count to 5. When he said countless,I thought it was in the millions. I'm not as impressed as I was
It's decent enough considering Wigan spent most of the season in the bottom 3.They would have been relegated without him.
I know mate, just when I read countless assists,it made me chuckle. He'd be a decent signing although personally I'd prefer downing.
As is now known thats a fake account, I think he's a decent player, better than any winger we've had in a decade(not hard), a better player than young IMO but there must be a reason all the bigger clubs are'nt banging the door down for him, I dont know what it is, but there was dicipline problems at Newcastle including a row with Carroll, you gotta give him credit there because you have balls of steel to pick a row with Andy Carroll, also did'nt he get into trouble as he paid somebody to take his driving test for him? I read an article about commoli that he apparently checks out family backgrounds, talks to ex school teachers etc when studying what a players character is about, maybe theres something in it, again this is me just thinking out loud. As I said if we got him and Downing we already have Maxi, I'd be well happy that we're sorted on the wings.
apparently both clubs have dismissed this rumour liverpool echo so theres an end to it still like him tough
