    See he has come out and said he wants to prove himself in England........
    Gettin on in years now, would probably cost a bomb and his wages would break the bank, but still one of my favourite strikers on the planet!!

    He was a class act and would loved to have signed him a few years ago but as you say he's getting on in years now.It's difficult to see where he could go.

    Can't see him coming to us Gary, he must be 30 now and I say his wage demands would be very high plus no CL, but I'd have him, one of the best strikers around

    Was first choice before Torres, really wish we got him now, purely for the fact that his injury record is far better and we may have won the league with our top striker playing most games

    He must be flippin sick of being a makeweight in deals at this point. Didnt Inter get an obscene amount of money and Etoo for Ibrahimovich?

    No Ron.Sorry.Just having a pop at Arry.Not qualifying for the Champions League will hurt them a lot more than it will hurt us.I'd say that keeping Modric will be their only possibility of a signing this Summer but I can't even see them pulling that one off.Of course I would love to see us sign Etoo and at 30 we could still catch him at his best for a few seasons.

    Ahhh Yeah I know, But i still believe we would be in a much better way to attract the bigger players compared to Spurs.IF we wanted him and we were in a battle with Spurs id think we would come out on top.The thought of playing with Pepe, Gerrard,Suarez and Carroll, Compared to Gomes, Bale,Modric and Defoe.

    Also the history of our club.I think he is a decent Bloke, and he would want to win trophies, and i think we would win trophies quicker than Spurs.

    This is all if we were interested in signing him, which i dont think we would be as his age, and wages wouldnt suit our club.Saying that Id love to see us sign him as he is a team player too, which is evident from his time playing under Jose at Inter when he played out on the left.

    As Eric Mentioned ,City i think would be his destination with Tevez going in the opposite direction.
