Course looks really tough. Alot of par 4's close to or over 500 yards, Looks like it will suit a controlled long hitter from the tee with a good short game. The 2 bets I have done are both win bets on McIlroy at 22/1 with Stan James and Westwood at 14/1 with Ladbrokes. Will hopefully get a good run out of those 2.
will stick to Dustin Johnson as usual. And will have a few small bets with a view to backing and laying and backing and laying as I did at the masters. great fun
We do a competition here in work which could also be a good fun raiser for IK. You have to pick 3 golfers with a combined odds in excess of 100/1 (i.e the 3 odds of the player must add to over 100/1). All three golfers must make the cut for you to be in with a chance to win. The team with the highest combined score wins. Was thinking mcilroy(18/1),donald (14/1) and Rose (70/1). If anyone wants the rules to do the competition for here let me know.
Have a feeling for Jim Furyk in this and Goosen seems to be coming into form so that may be the 2 I look at.
Have a few small bets on this Mcdowell @ 33s Poulter @ 40s Karlsson @ 50s scott @ 50s ryan moore @ 80s HAve a good feeling with scott in this, he is playing well enough to win a major and he has williams ( tigers caddy ) on his bag for the weekend
Bubba Watson 40/1e/w - More than has the distance, if he can keep the short game in order he has every chance here... Luke Donald 16/1 win - Made a fortune out of Luke this year so had to stay with him... Small bet on Dusting Johnson at 25/1 and small bet on Rory at 22/1... if Robert Rock can sort his visa I might throw 2 e/w on him...
Going to back Westwood to win it.I just have a feeling it could be his year.I think my e/w bets will go on Matt Kuchar. He has had a few decent finishes in the last few weeks. Also Angel Cabrera at 100/1 could be worth a small one.
Hoping Harrington might come back to form - 70/1 with PP Also put a few bob on Rory @ 18/1 Come on the Irish boys
Harrington is too wild off the tee for this course, same reason I wont back lefty. You need long but more importantly accurate drives. Cue Lefty and Harrington fighting it out on Sunday!
Did the following KJ Choi 33/1 win Cabrera 100/1 ew Bo Van Pelt 100/1 ew Adam Scott 60/1 win Jimenez 150/1 ew Kim 125/1 ew
