I posted about this in the "tip thread" earlier but didn`t get a response so just trying to let anyone, who might be interested, know about it and make their own mind up....
I heard Dutch journo on radio speaking about Martin Jol for the Fulham job and he is 100% convinced he WILL become the new Fulham manager and would put his own money on it with bookies! He said the news of him returning to the PL was very strongly circulated in Holland all season and from around Christmas that the club was going to be Fulham. Apparently they were very good sources saying this but he couldn`t understand how this would happen with Mark Hughes only in his first season at Craven Cottage....

    Anyway I stuck £100 on @ 5/4 with Paddy Power :)

Thought that cos I use OddsChecker to find the best odds and the only 2 bookies still showing a price are Skybet and Victor Chandler! I`m hoping that`s a good sign and I got in at just the right time! :D

Oh sh*t was it you who had the bet on Hughes to Villa when he left Fulham?

I`ve never bet on something like this before but just sounded too good the way the Dutch guy was going on about it.....and luckily (or not maybe??) I was on laptop at the time so hit it straight away before the odds were affected!
I had £50 @ 13/5 on Nadal to win 3-1 yesterday so just playing with winnings anyway :)

You just reminded me that Fulham aren`t exactly a lucky team for me!
I travelled over on a journey from hell through the mad snow with my sick nephew the week before Christmas to watch them and the game was cancelled on morning of match!
Then I had £500 on Arsenal to beat them on last day of season and they held them to a draw!!.....Starting to wonder now did I act to hastily...

Jesus man. That's rough. But you put 500 quid on Arsenal to win a match. especially away from home.I'd say you should get a slice of that back when Jol gets the job.

Convinced myself they were a good thing as they HAD to win to stand any chance of finishing in 3rd spot (City won anyway so didn`t matter!) and thought Fulham wouldn`t have tried to challenge for any ball in case they done themselves out of qualifying for Europa through fair play league....ended up up they had a couple of bookings AND a man sent off........yet STILL the feckers qualified!!! Ah well :p

Fulham wanted Jol last season before he decided to stay in holland. So mark Hughes or the job instead. So it doesn't suprise me that fulham have gone back in for him.

11/10...but as well as my reasons above for being convinced they were a good thing I also took into account that we stuck 5 past them at their place only 2 weeks earlier.....sounded so good at the time! :D

The Villa job seems to be the only slight danger in him not going to Fulham so I just had a £10 saver on him taking that @ 12/1 :p
