This was coming a long time.

To be honest he has done nothing with that team and they could well be struggling to survive come the end of the year.

ulham have sacked manager Lawrie Sanchez with immediate effect.
The club are languishing in the relegation zone of the Premier League, winning only four matches out of 24 games under Sanchez and lost 12.

"Losing Premiership status is a proposition that simply can not be contemplated," said a club statement.

Sanchez's departure comes just a day after former Fulham midfielder John Collins's sudden resignation as Hibernian manager.

The ex-Scotland midfielder's exit sparked a flurry of rumours that he may return to Craven Cottage.

I'm happy enough with that to be honest, I thought Chris Coleman did a great job with very limited resources to keep them up for years and he got shafted. They wouldn't give him money and them they gave Sanchez money to buy the Northern Ireland squad. My brother is a Fulham fan (God help him) and he hates the football they're playing at the moment. they've scored a fair few goals but their defending is woeful. Bye bye Lawrie "Long Ball" Sanchez, don't let the door hit you on the way out.:D
