Glad to see old fathead still thinks he's managing Barca. Where on earth is he getting a £20 mill valuation for Henderson?

Had a look to see what his current transfer market valuation is, rated at just under 7.5 million.
No idea what they use to work out their valuations and some of them are a bit silly when you mooch around different clubs and see some players are almost valueless. Spearing for instance is worth 400k. Sneaking suspicion that games played etc has a direct effect on valuation.

Having said all that, its still a very interesting site to bookmark for when youre bored....or nobody has posted in the last 10 minutes.

Apologies if this site is already mentioned somewhere but I've seen it quoted in a few of the financials as a reference point for player values, so have a look around it when youre bored!

Seems interesting, had a chuckle at the fact they value Arshavin at 1 mil more than Carroll

    Hi mate,

To be honest, I'd respectfully suggest maybe even a little lower than that, maybe £7m or so would be my bet, he's not been performing too well in recent months I thought so wouldn't think he's top of many wish lists this summer.

Interesting site, but we will never really know the true value of anyone. i say this because ultimately it comes down to two things . 1. what a team is able to pay.
    2. what they are prepared to pay.
hence why we paid so much for Andy Carroll.

It`s all relative, as me auld uncle used to say.....

I take the site with a pinch of salt, but its an interesting lace to spend a few minutes even if just to disagree with them. I read that the system they use takes playing time/injury time into consideration as well as a rake of other stuff so that might be a reason Andy's valuation is lower than we'd like on it?
Anywho, it is as Big Red Guy said all relative. If I want to sell my car and think its worth 10k, its matterless if the guy buying it thinks its worth 5k.
