Even though he did play for United you got to admit he was in the top, top bracket of Keepers and has had a fantastic career, enjoy the retirment and hope the missus gets better mate. The only thing I'll admit is that the basstid has massive ears Not unlike that trophy that he didnt get his hands on last night
Didn't get his hands on much last night Used to like him when he was at Juve, thought he was way to good to go to Fulham, then he went to the Toilet. Good keeper in his day.
Absolutely hate the fcuker. Glad to see the back of him, and not because he was a good keeper but because he is an arrogant cnut
The only thing I can say is that I hope his wife gets better.Apart from that he's just another horrible manc cnut and I will be delighted to see the back of him.
No offence sarge but I hate seeing threads started about manc players.Having said that I hope his wife gets better.
Good riddance to him used to like him years ago but then he went to United. All the same hope his wife gets better...
Yep and a little silly that people cannot just admit VDS was top calss, Maradona is a dickhead but was a quality player.
All in all i think he was a top keeper and did a great service for united, glad to see he's leaving them as i think they'll struggle to replace him. Hope his wife gets better also, thats nothing to do with football support though
uniteds title success in recent years can be seen as him playing a major part...great keeper but still a manc cnut! edit: interesting to see united never won FA cup since he joined
I thought his wife was fully recovered already? He was a decent keeper although never a top notch keeper like Pepe, Iker or Buffon. Certainly not worthy of a goodbye thread on IK.
Your joking right? Anyway, how many people remember that Ajax team he played in, by jesus they where top class and very, very young at that.
