is Ngog on his bike ? In the Echo that he's valued at £8m If we get £8m for him then Dalglish will be an even bigger genius that I thought he was already. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/live...ce-tag-on-striker-david-ngog-100252-28775454/
If we get 8 million for him, I'll post a video of me eating a hat on youtube Think he will move on for sure, not near good enough and there's no point saying send him on loan for a season, he wouldn't be able to hack the physical side of the championship and he wouldn't get near any prem teams starting 11.
If I was a supporter of a side who went out and spent £8 million on Ngog then I'd find out the manager's address, drive down to his gaff and slap him over the head with a pair of yesterday's socks. Obviously we know we arent getting anywhere near that for him. I'm just relieved to see signs that he's being sold. He's not good enough, and I doubt he ever will be. I'd love to see us clear a load of the mediocre players off our books. He'd be one of them. More like 3 or 4 million though.
am i the only one who would like to ngog get a year out on loan at prem club (if possible). i dont think hes the worst 4th choice striker...
I can see any Premier League clubs taking him unless as a backup,I just checked up his premier League record for us there, 61 games and 9 goals.
Ngog is what he is 4th choice striker at the club, something he was always bought for. His record is similar to most other 3rd/4th choice strikers at other clubs (Bendtnar for example) so i'm not going to slag him off for that, if he moves on i'll wish him well, if not then i've no problem either. If he was to stay i think a loan move would be a good option and i'd be fairly confident a prem side would take him.
Just because he's not good enough for Liverpool doesn't mean he's anywhere near as bad as you lot are making out.
Ive always liked him but I really dont think hes going to make it at premiership level. Would be more suited to the championship imo. Not a bad player but not good enough.
Would glady take 3 million for him. He seems to just lack the bite and aggression at the top level. Seems a decent lad and has talent, however I he is good enough for even 4th choice striker at top four club. I remember his goal in 2-0 against United last season, so lets not forget he has made his contributions, much like Pongelle and Mellor in years gone by. I think he is similar level to both of them.
Imo a real natural finisher but has the typical french/Babel attitude on the pitch IE: half a sleep and no get up and go with aggression etc West Brom offered £6m at the start of the season , i still think that is realistic due ti his age and potential in the right team/Manager
How many of those games were as a sub and only played 10/15 mins? I'd like to keep him but send him out on loan for the year. In saying that if an offer of £6-£8 million pound came in it'd be difficult to say no.
aye, mine neither. I doubt it was true that they really offered £6m in cash for Ngog though. I know they made an offer but I'd be guessing the paper(s) blew the fee out of proportion.
Maybe so , but the lads still young @22 and does have potential .£6m doesn't seem to far fetched imo.
i wouldnt be in a big rush to get rid of him to be honest. Lets not forget the belter of a goal he scored against arsenal first game of season..The place was rocking when that goal went in.
