    55 million plus for us is a decent return.

    unbelievable for a team that was looking at a possible relegation battle in 2010 and still only £5m behind the winners and champion league runners up {fingers crossed}

    Cheers ... thought this new deal was going to be worth more than just £7m extra ?

    I'm sure i read based on finishing in the same position { 7th last , 6th this} the new deal would be worth at least £13m+ more ....

    The over sea's revenue has gone from £625m to £1.4b and we only get £7m extra..... and the domestic money also took a big rise £1.782bn

    We're losing out on a massive pile of revenue with the foreign tv money being split up evenly. Can't imagine too many heads in Singapore or Canada would be staying up late to watch Sunderland v Wigan.

    new overseas deal kicks in next season, I think this relates to the old tv deal.

    Very fair spread of money in fairness to the EPL.

    That's not a bad few quid coming in at all to reinvest in the squad

    It's more fair tO split it up evenly or else we'll end up like the Spanish league, barca, Madrid taking in 100m + while lavente taking in £10m

    The Italians tried going down that road and it didn't work

    One thing very noticeable is how Liverpool are always near the top in the number of live broadcasts each and every season. This will never change.

    But I am a bit confused by the figure for the total number of games broadcast live at 288.
    288/2=144

    But the Premiership rights is for a total of 138 matches per season.

    No Wonder the premier league is one of the toughest with nearly every team earning at least 40m from tv rights.

    I reckon they just pay the most popular teams more, like they do in Spain ;)

    Since got the answer to my question. Some of the clubs in the chart will not have been shown live on TV 10 times. But receive a payment based on being shown a minimum of 10 times.

    Ya, I understand that and its the best way to go about things in fairness. I just think its a bit mad that alot of the clubs receive £17m when the only times they'll be aired more often than not is when they play us or the Man U, and to a lesser extent when they play Arsenal or Chelsea.
