Dragons Den and Top Gear are about the only show I watch at the moment.

I tend to watch old episodes of Only Fools and Horses, Regi Perrin etc on Uk Gold

Ahh somebody else who likes Chuck, I didnt stick it on my list as I figured no one else in Ireland was downloading it despite it being the best new show in the US, apart from Pushing Daisies, meaning it will be cancelled and replaced with a new reality show called 'Animals make the strangest noises'

Ive seen the odd episode of entourage. Pushing Daisies takes a bit of time to get into, I like it as its completely out there and in a country where practically all tv is made up of reality shows, 16 spin offs of Law and Order or CSI, its the first show in a long time that can claim to be original.

Looking forward to the new series of Lost, saw the trailer last night the show finally looks like its going somewhere with some of the survivors being rescued.

Its a tenner I think, I had to get it as the Champions League clashes with Corrie so send her packing to the bedroom.

Its also handy when youve been out on the beers and there is a 12.30 kick off you can just roll over and turn on the telly.

BSG doesnt make you a nerd mate, there are an awful lot of mainstream critics in the states that regularly when doing their top 5 shows of the year have it mixing company with Sopranos, West Wing etc., In 2005 Time Magazine, New York Newday and for those that like some street cred Rolling Stone voted it show of the year above the other shows I mentioned.

First half of season 3 is as good as any show, anywhere, anytime and deals with present day issues, unwanted country occupation, suicide bombers, summery executions of persons comitting treason, mass executions of prisoners. It may be set in space but its a far from sci-fi as it gets.

BSG is pure quality top to bottom but as its set in space people write it off as Star Trek.

to be honest..regarding the current political climate..there were bits of that in season 1 and 2.. think the start of season 3 was ridiculously obvious which made me cringe. Only certain elements though.

and there are really cheesy moments..when they name the blackbird after the president..and the bagpipes music comes in..CHEESE :D

apart from a few moments its such a damn good show.

Kitchen Nightmares. Always enjoy docu-soap shows, with no script. :)

I watched that too but repeats I was 3 or 4 when it was originally on but the old show is the reason people dont watch the new one.

The original Apollo is in the new one as a different character who was a terrorist leader but now has taken his fight into the political arena(sound familiar) and also Starbucks much better looking now, seeing how she's a chick.

I think Ramsey may be stopping that because of the massive lawsuit against him in the US, pity hes a knob but fun to watch.
