L.A. Noire is out Friday, Who's getting it ?? Looks fantastic, who has the time to play it , I certainly don't but I'll get time from somewhere. Price is €49.99 in Smyths, if you see it cheaper post in here.
Is this out on the PC by any chance? I'm not into gaming, but it did look interesting on the telly. I'd give it a bash on the PC if they're releasing it for it?

Only similarity to GTA will be that its free roaming. The fire fights will be rare enough and you cant draw your gun randomly. Its all about going about a case in the cleanest best way possible. The big thing about it is the new facial detection the animators used that you can actually tell every little movement on there face and is supposed to be the key when interrogating people to see if there lying.
Looks amazing and is getting great reviews.I was hoping it would be a cross between heavy rain and gta but apparently the story is predetermined,it would be nice if a particular action had a consequence to the story but it's not the case.Must wait to finish dead space 2 and will buy.I think Xtravision are giving away a copy of la confidential with each purchase,not sure on their retail price though.
Looks deadly. Might have to invest in that. But having said that, I still have Assassin's Creed@ Brotherhood sat unopened on my desk.
So I hear mate. I bought that at the same time as I bought the new FIFA and COD so it took a backseat! Finish up work for the summer more or less soon though so I look forward to a few long Assasins Creed dedicated days!
Pre-ordered this yesterday in Gamestop. Brought in 3 games from the trade in list and have to give 3 euro friday.
Absolutely no question about it, getting this on Friday and I won't be seen 'till Monday at the earliest! Rockstar games are quickly becoming "Games you MUST own". RDR was fantastic and the new facial expression engine looks blinding! Don't care how much it costs, will be buying the first copy I can land my hands on!
They might release it on pc but it could be nearly a year before they do because its harder to code a pc game because of the limitless combinations of hardware . Plus i'll avoid it on pc if its anything like GTA 4 .
