The way results have gone today it's looking a decent bet that Blackpool and Westham will be relegated, just a poll to see who people would prefer as i think we'll only go for 1.

i reckon he's less likely to moan and complain about sitting in the bench and chopping and changing between players

Of the 2 above, I would prefer Adam.
Younger, more creative and plenty of scope to improve under a great manager.

Agree with this completely. I just Hope if we were to get him, He would improve with a better quality of players around him, as sometimes while playing for Blackpool he looks average.

Fairly sure Kenny has his heart set on Adam and I trust him.

Was wondering how long it would take before this question came up.

Have to say the Idea of Parker in the squad has grown on me thought he would'nt fit in initially because we don't really need another defensive mid & his age but in fairness Parker gives you a little more than just a defensive mid & if we could get him for under 10mil he would represent value (in an inflated market) for money. Will he see us as his last shot at the big time or just stay in London it's hard to say really.

My main worry with Adam is can he reproduce the displays & heart (he has shown for Blackpool over the last 2 seasons) for us.If he is only getting game time now & again I worry that he can.As has been said above he will improve & time is on his side.Could be a driving force from midfield for us for many years to come if all was to go well.Goal threat aswell which is always needed. Think the King would get the best out of him & reckon he wants to play for us which swings it his way tbh.

I went for Parker simply because I don't rate Adam at all.
I doubt this type of signing will be our priority either. Hopefully SG can be fit more often next season.

Definitely Adam. Parker would have been a good signing for us when he was kicking his heels at Chelsea or making waves at Charlton or just after he did that ad for McDonalds when he was 15!
Too old, not the type of player we are crying out for and would question the impact on younger players that some think he would have a la Gary Mac. He hardly has a depth of experience at the very top to pass on. Missed opportunity for Parker

i voted for Adam but like some i dont think we need either. Our midfield will be pretty stocked as it is.. Here are the positions in midfiled available and the players that can play in them:

DM- Lucas (Gerrard, Meireles and Spearing can play here if called upon)
CM- Gerrard, Meireles, Spearing and Shelvey
AM- Gerrard, Meireles and Shelvey. Young if we get him

it's wings we need to concentrate on. currently we have Maxi left and Kuyt right, who i think would do a better job upfront.
Young and wijnaldum for the right and Mata, Nzogbia or Marin for the left.
Enrique left back and possibly Dann for Center back.

    Sorted imo.

    I cant believe that.

Six votes out of 29 for the player of the year. In a one-horse-race race for a player who has been mediocre for months.
I must be watching a different sport to the rest of yee.

    Meh, I'll say nothing.

Parker is a smashing player and the type of player we need if you could get him for 5million then yes anything more is too much at his age.
Adam has been outstanding at times but I just cant see where he'd fit into the team. With Gerrard and Merieles I think were more than covered for an attacking CM.
