    Anyone watch the man united vs Shalke match tonight? well the camera went to Pep Guardiola a few times and no one seemed to notice Damien Commoli sat behind him.. I wonder who he was watching? Farfan? Escudero (LB), Jurado..

    any thoughts... he's hardly after a united player so it has to be someone from Shalke!

    Might be after Bojan again. Poulsen, Ngog, Konchesky and a Wispa will surely get him and Messi.

    Mightn't be watching anyone in particular. Wouldn't really be doing his job if he didn't go to a champions league semi final 30miles down the road. Neuer hardly covered himself in glory tonight

    Well Jurado was less then impressive and Farfan is not really an out and out winger like Valencia or N'Zogbia but he is decent enough from what i can see.. I suppose you could be right Brian Fantana but you never know he could be watching someone from Shalke. We also dont know if he was at the 1st leg..

    Anybody have anyone they like on their team?

    Seen him alright..don't think he'd be there unless he was watching someone.. were we linked with Metzelder and Papadopoulos before as possible cb cover???

    I reckon it could be Thiago Alcantara, he looks class,. And he went to dinner with Pacheco last night,.

    It was going around last night from good Reds, and if you google his name you'll see he was linked and watched by us in January.
    There is no other player on that Schalke team that matches FSG policy.

    If it is its got to be a marketing thing....12 letter surname. His shirts will make a fortune getting printed in the clubstore.

    And for some strange reason every time he was mentioned last night my brain turned it into Mr.Snuffaluffagus......sometimes I share too much

    Heard the rumours about Papadopoulos, seen schalke 4 times in the champions leauge and didn't think he particuarly stood out.

    Didnt rate him one bit over the 2 legs and would be disappointed if he was one of our summer signings to be honest.
    Dont we have Kelly, Wilson, Ayala, Skrtel, Agger and an aging Carra already. Would prefer Kelly and Wilson get their shot. He has just played more games than they have and i somehow deemed better.. they wont know how good they are unless they are given a run of games. League cup next year possible but not in a team full of fringe players like Northampton! a mix or first teamers and squad player would get them experience playing with established good players..
