Hi Folks, if anyone has an android phone, can they help with a probleam that I have. I have a Sony X1O Mini. I cannot logg on to the Android Market with GMail account, I was able to do so, but not now, I haven't changed any of the settings. I am receiving error message "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server". I have searched other message boards and it seems a lot of people have also encountered this problem. I have done a lot of what people have recommened, such as logging on through You Tube, taking out battery/sim/memory card and still same error. A lot of people also recommened resetting the phone, but I would prefer not to do so as I have a lot of pictures and few apps downloaded already. Thanks.

you just need to enter your network's APN settings and then enter your
    gmail account details

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=106942

Check that thread and find your relevant settings,.

there are also links for them to be sent from your operator so you dont have to enter manually,.

You can also reset the phone, but use the mybackup app first, and it will save all your data apps pics etc, and then you can restore them onto the phone after the reset.

    Hope this helps
