    i expect 3 points here birmingham can be hard to brake down on there day but at home we should win this.they are playing chelsea wednesday to0 so i hope that will take a bit out of them too.

    I expect a win too but we have an absolutely desperate record against Birmingham at anfield, not beaten them at home since 2003

    I'll be backing us -1 on the handicap to win this,bar 2 shit performances away at WBA and West Ham we've looked real good and an intense display against these will bag us 3 points.

    I'm hoping they get relegated because they are god awful to watch. Having said that does anyone know if this game is on the telly

    Hey guys, first post. Thought i would comment in the next game thread as it is the easiest thing to talk about being a newbie.. What do people think about team selection and formations for the Brum game?

    I am pretty sure KK will start with what started the second half against Arsenal. maybe he'l play a 3 man midfield with Meireles (wasted on the left) behind a front 3 of Carrol, Suarez and Dirk. I think that formation will benefit the 2 young lads as they can get forward down the wings, get the crowd behind them.

    Also i would like to say well done to all on the recent debacle with RTE and the s*n..
