Starts this Saturday and I have to say it is 16 days of pleasure for me. After tipping up the winner Neil Robertson last year I am all over Mark Selby at 6/1 this year. He has a handy enough draw to quarters where he will meet Ding. He beat Ding in China two weeks ago with Ding admitting that Selby's game frustrates the fcuk out of him. If he advances to semis Selby could meet Ali Carter another player he hammered in China recently. The 3/1 on Selby reaching the final is also another solid bet I reckon but I am going with the 6/1 to win the whole lot!!!
That's a good shout and a handy run to the final, might take the 3/1 on him to reach the final, think he might get a really tough test in the final, adn after coasting the rest of the way, he may be taken by surprise,.
Have been really lookin forward to this for ages. Robertson/Trump should be a cracker to start off with on Saturday. I've my money on Mark Williams and Shaun Murphy ew
Wonder what Ronnie will turn up, At 7/1 it's hard not to back him to win it, Will have a closer look tomorrow.
Fancy Mark Allen to be World Champion at some stage and hopefully it will be this year and I'll be backing him as I think he has bags of potential...
Anyone know any sites that will have live scores on the snooker? I dont wanna watch it coz I'm in work, just even a live score service would be great. Thanks! (come on Selby)
Great start for John Higgins.2-0 and at the table. Was going to back O'Sullivan outright at 4/1 but having second thoughts.
Watched Ronnie last night against Murphy.Did you see his Miss to clinch it when he was 12-8 up?? Unreal, It had to be one of the simplest shots. Any way i thought he was going to throw it away, as Murphy was banging in long range shots which deserved to win a championship let alone a match. The Higgins match today is class.Ronnie looks composed and focused, and its now 2-2 at the break.Interesting and exciting day of snooker ahead i think.
I think the winner of Ronnie and Higgins will go onto win it, Very close to call, hope it's Ronnie have tenner on him at 8/1 to win Outright.
Selby is even money to beat Ding, He will play a hell lot better in the next 2 sessions than he did today that's for sure. Think I'll have some of the even money on offer.
10-6 Finshed on the second session, Watched parts of the match Ding was getting a hell lot of luck, Selby is 7/2 now to beat Ding.
Kinda raging I didnt back Williams now, I've backed him in the last couple of world championships as a big priced ex-champ and this year i blanked him and he goes on a run
