In an interview with Rai Guardiola to Rai Sport: "I'm fine here but my time at Barça is ending" Guardiola to Rai Sport: "I'll stay one more year and it'll be my fourth. You have to understand when it's time to go". Guardiola to Rai Sport: "You need to be brave. Players and journalists get tired of the manager after a few years" Asked would he ever manage in Italy-it depends if I still have the desire
I wouldnt tbh, think he only signs yearly anyway, dont think he likes the politics of the powers that be
Id imagine its so easy, that he's now getting bored, he's not like Maureen a buying success greedy bsatard,. He wants a challenge and wants to win in style, managing Barca is no challenge, and neither is winning things with them,.
Bresica could be a option for him id imagine for a challenge having played there and still having feelings for the club, that would be if he was looking for a challenge.
Hold on now, the King is here for at least 2 years, and when he decides to step down, then Rafa has first refusal,.
oh, go on so shur i hope it can work out for KK & he's here as long as whiskey nose, but if not, have Pep's number handy
I would like to see him take another job so we can see if he really is a top manager coz most of that team was there before he got there and not being funny but i think anyone can manage that team they are that good.
If the media and a lot of our fans went spare about Rafa wasting money then I'd fear for Pep if he took us over: Ibrahimovic-£45m + Samuel Eto'o Caceres-£15m Hleb-£14m Henrique-£6m Keita-£11m Chygrynskiy-£22m Mascherano-£22m After 6 transfer windows with Barca, only Villa and Dani Alves have been top signings for them and both were big bucks and were already established top internationals when signed.Pique's really the only one I can think of who was a bargain and came on leaps and bounds under him. *I rate Guardiola-think he's a good fella and a top coach who plays the game in the right way.People will quite rightly say it doesn't matter because he's been phenomenally successful with them. All I'm saying is we don't have the likes of Messi,Puyol,Xavi and Iniesta already in our team.If he took over in the morning I wouldn't fancy giving Guardiola £100m to give our first team the investment it needs.
The club owners/boards over there have a lot more say over whos bought compared to here. I think thats why he will leave , he doesnt like the interference
Some great points there, I like him but wow that's some serious money on players that haven't added much at all.
Sweet child of mine!!!! please don't turn a thread on Pep Guardiola into ANOTHER pro/anti Rafa thread. It's getting really old
The thread hasn't come anywhere remotely close to descending into a pro/anti Rafa thread, nor was it ever intended to.
