It is really going to be strange this year with no BBC coverage on the Thursday & Friday night. The BBC have being showing all four rounds since 1986. Thought with the Sky promo add that there was going to be 2 extra hours play being broadcast on both Thursday and Friday but it seems that while they come on air on 7pm both night live coverage will not start until 8pm. Would love it if another it was another European player putting on the green jacket on Sunday night it has been to long since the last European winner in 1999 with Olazabal.
I think it is possible to watch it online with extra coverage.Can't remember what site I used last year but they had a live cam at Amen Corner the same as the BBCi.It's definitely the best Major to watch..It's hard to believe Ollie's win was 12 years ago.
And as I have a punt on the US Golf most weeks, Sky's coverage is very good(I especially like Butch Harmons analysis) but it is totally ruined by endless adverts on an extremely regular basis. BBC was always welcome bliss with no ads. Bloody love the Masters. I feel like iv played the back 9, I know it so well from years of watching gripping Sundays!

At least the Beeb has the weekend's play. I think the Masters is sacred and always associate it with the BBC (very similar to FA Cup). there are some things Sky should never have and the Masters is definitely one of them.
They have been showing the cricket world cup, previously have shown ppv boxing, the ryder cup, wrestlemania and more besides so hopefully they will have the masters.

Chad Campbell did not qualify to play. The 2011 Masters field consists of 93 professionals and 6 amateurs, from a total of 22 countries. Remember it well Ronan. I also wanted to see the Brazilian Grand Prix hightlites (no live coverage back then) but the coverage was delayed because of that Masters playoff.
Would you believe PP gave me a free 10 euro bet at the weekend, so I was going to put it on him for the Masters at 9/1. Checked out the Shell Open and he was 5/1 in running and stalking the leaders, so stuck it on that.
