If the songs are still playing in your Itunes then the file is stored somewhere else on you computer you just need to search for them. I'm not to up to speed with this either but I'm sure thats right!

This happened me when I transfered some music files from my computers drive to an external hard drive. I just needed to go look for them. Do you have an external hard drive for you music?

Possibly not so, they would of being stored in that. Sorry, if this was pointed out before, I didn't see it if it was. If you deleted them files your music is gone, I may be wrong though.

If you arn't synchronising your Iphone with your Itunes then the music will be still stored in your iphone even if its not on your computer!

Its a program you can download, I think its about 15quid, I may be wrong. But you use it to transfer music from an Ipod to your computer. Its handy to have if you want to take music of other peoples Ipods. The trial version lets you download one song at a time, if you don't want to pay the fee. It'll just take you a bit longer, say about a week, to transfer all your songs individually!

if they are not playing on itunes and you deleted the files, then they are no longer pressent on your Computer, i would suggest connecting your phone to the pc and to itunes and then click the top left corner and select transfer purchases from phone, this will copy all your music pictures videos and apps to your pc, they will be stored either in your itunes folder or a predetermined folder selected prior to installation, you can then copy the files, to your memory stick.
