Westwood; Foley, O'Dea, Kelly (capt), Clark; Lawrence, Fahey, Green, Keogh; McCarthy, Long Id esp like to see Fahey and McCarthy do well in this one ..
Marc Wilson. Interesting team and Quiet a young one too.I wonder will Mc Carthy play in Behind Long. Would have liked to see Stokes get a run out though as i think he deserves a call up.
To me it looks like he'll play in the centre. The fact that both Lawrence and keogh are playing suggests to me that keogh will be up front with long.
Trap has said he wants to see McCarthy playing off a striker. Wilson should be in there ahead of Keogh, looking forward to see how Clarke plays. He will be big for us in years to come
Hopefully the youngsters wanting to impress will bring us through this lookin forward to seeing more of Clark,Mcarthy and Long headin out to this so hopefully will make a game of it.
Westwood/Murphy Foley Clarke O Dea Ward Coleman Mccarthy Gibson Fahey Long Best That is not a bad second team coming through tbh when Dunne, Keane, Given and Duffman call it a day. Add in the experience of St Ledger, Lawrence, Keogh Kelly, McGeady, Doyle and Whelan into the mix and I think this could be a good squad in years to come. Wilson looks useful, Stokes may improve at Celtic and Conor Sammon at Wigan will break into the team next year he is a cracking player. Granted no superstars yet but players that should be playing regularly in the premiership in the furture you'd imagine. With the right guidance they could form a decent Irish side who should be able to challange regularly for qualification. Looking forward to see how Mccarthy et al. get on tonight.
