Hey lads, just a problem my sister is having since she moved to her new home outside Killarney. At the moment there is little or no coverage there, usually none and I was wondering does anyone know if she can get a booster for the phone signal without getting a landline?
Vodafone are doing a signal booster but you need to set up a landline which eircom will prob charge for so I was hoping there was an alternative.
When I saw your thread thats exactly what I thought of - Sure Signal. http://www.vodafone.ie/mobilephoneservices/suresignal/ But your right you need fixed line broadband and a 3G handset.
Im sure Elvis on here, will come up with some Gadget for you. But in todays ages, and the country which we live in, with signal not been great in certain parts of the country(Broadband been a prime example of this) im suprised there has not been a invention as such, which would improve Peoples signal Quality.
Ya im hoping elvis' attention will be drawn to this thread as he usually has a solution.I know there are devices but getting the line activated and getting a broadband package are a non runner for the sister so fingers crossed
Cheers Ron, there should be a "FAO Elvis" thread, as im only seeing this now,. cant keep an eye on everything. answer to all your problems mate http://cellantenna.co.uk/?gclid=CIGHlK_D8acCFQod4QodzkpUaQ kind of pricey though, I know you can get a signal blocker for 10 quid online I'll see can I find cheaper ones later. also for some useful reading http://www.wisebread.com/no-signal-5-quick-ways-to-boost-your-cell-phone-reception
