congrats mypost have to try and get there with the eircom league champions once its open on the other side of it whats the odds that thomas davis goes to the supreme court
they can but the way the judge dismissed the case means they would have to prove it was in the natural interest of the country and they have built costs into the low millions but that will get bigger if they appeal to the supreme court YNWA JUZ

Finally into Tallaght Hoops Hail High Court Win Press Release Issued : 14 Dec 2007 HOOPS HAIL HIGH COURT WIN Today the High Court ruled in favour of South Dublin County Council and against Thomas Davis GAA club in the Judical Review of the Tallaght community stadium. This means that work can resume on the site and that Shamrock Rovers can look forward to moving into the stadium some time between the end of the 2008 and the start of the 2009 season. Says Shamrock Rovers Chairman Jonathan Roche: "Obviously this is the news we were hoping for and it's fantastic for everyone involved at Shamrock Rovers. "I want to thank everyone who supported us along the way, from the South Dublin County Council to the various politicians and the FAI - and of course our great fans. "It's been 20 years since we lost Milltown, so we're at the end of a long struggle. It's a great testament to the fans that they remained loyal and they deserve this so much. "It's just a relief to think that Rovers will finally have a home. We can start dreaming again, and carry on with the rebuilding process that began at the club two years ago."

Shamrock Rovers Press Release South Dublin County Council Statement on Tallaght Stadium Judgement Press Release Issued : 14 Dec 2007 Judgement of the High Court delivered on 14th December 2007 regarding the completion of a sports stadium at Whitestown Way, Tallaght for use by Shamrock Rovers Football Club. Judgment was delivered today in the High Court by Mr Justice Roderick Murphy in favour of South Dublin County Council in a Judicial Review case, taken by Cumann Tomas Daibhis, challenging a resolution to complete the development of a sports stadium at Whitestown Way, Tallaght for use by Shamrock Rovers Football Club. Planning Permission was granted by an Bord Pleanala in January 1998, construction work commenced in October 2000 but was ceased in November 2001 and was not substantially completed during the life of the relevant planning permissions. A Public consultation procedure in accordance with the Planning and Development Act 2000 and Part 8 Regulations 2001 to 2003 commenced to complete the stadium in July 2005 and a resolution was passed in December 2005, to modify the proposed development to include facilities for other sports and uses. This resolution was passed subject to additional funding from the Department of Arts, Sports and Tourism. The additional funding required was not made available by the Department and the Council, on 13th February 2005, voted in favour of proceeding with the development as originally planned. The Court in determining the matter in favour of South Dublin County Council was of the view that it would be wrong for the Council to commit itself to unbudgeted expenditure or to delay the implementation of the resolution to complete the stadium and refused the reliefs sought by Cumann Tomas Daibhis. The Council will, subject to confirmation on any possible challenge to the Supreme Court on a point of law, commence negotiations with the Department of Arts, Sport and Tourism to agree funding arrangements and with the contractor to negotiate the recommencement of works at the earliest possible date. Dated 14th Dec 2007

Good man yourself, much appreciated! No need for these " ", Tallaght is our new home, and as for freak wins, you can hold onto that one but i wouldn't expect many more.
No. I don't know if that's a joke or not, well done if it is, i'm sure you've out done yourself this time. No.
i wouldnt say mk dons they are stil going to be in the same area as glenmalure roughly.does render a lot of chants meaningless though
Not a supporter of any league of ireland team but i think its gas how everyone (not just talking about here before anyone gets upset) takes pleasure in the bad times rovers had and love to make wise cracks at any given chance i suppose its jelousy of the most successfull club there has been in irish football, there are not many clubs left now a days that have not moved from thier traditional home or will be moving soon i for one am delighted and hope it helps to see the re emergence of irelands greatest trophy winning club !
For us or you? And yes JC, of course it's jealousy, and to be honest it's only going to get worse from now on...
for everyone else of course its a positive step jc i cant wait till the proper united gets the new stadium too theres not even hand basins in the jacks at united park.oh and on redundant chants lads when are ye gonna shut up about four in a row
