Place a blank, recordable disc in the computer's media tray and insert the disc into the computer. Open the drive for the device that operates the CD or DVD burner by double-clicking. On most systems, this will be the drive labeled D:\. Open the folder containing the pictures to be copied to the disc. Folders of digital images are most often stored in a larger folder labeled My Pictures. Press and hold the Control (CTRL) key and use the left mouse button to click and highlight each picture to be copied to the disc. Holding the CTRL key enables multiple pictures to be selected at once. Release the CTRL key and press the right mouse button to reveal a drop-down menu. Click on "Copy" from this menu. Click on the drive for the media burner device to display it on the monitor. Click the right mouse button and select "Paste." Copies of the digital photos will be pasted into a folder for burning to disc. Click the button on the left-hand side of the screen that reads, "Write these Files to CD" (or DVD). If the button is not displayed, simply click the right-hand mouse button and choose the "Write Files" option. Click "OK" to begin burning copies of the selected photos to a CD or DVD.
