ok so when i switch on my pc it starts up i runs the screen with the dell logo and the options f2 f12.Then thats as far as it goes relly it brings me to a black screen with an underscore up in the top right hand corner.I've tried restarting it and hit f8 for safe mode but this brings me to another black screen with some writing on it including a message reading ''keyboard error'' anybody any ideas whats going down.
Sounds to me like it's not booting properly , what O/S you running ? Try disconnecting everything when it's turned off and plugging them back in again , incase its just a dodgy connection or something.
it's windows xp m8.Yeah i'm gonna try that now in a bit.Read on the net rarlier to try.I'll let ya know how i get on.Cheers
