For 369 thats probably the iPad 1, the iPad 2 was just launched last week, and the iPad 3 is due at the end of the year. Other manufacturers are launching similiar devices so keep your eyes peeled on what they offer and the functionality you want/need.
Waiting on my new Notion Ink Adam Tablet to be delivered at the moment.. Tech specs http://notionink.com/techspecs.php
I got one from work. They are a coffee table piece, more of a luxuary piece rather than something you would use day to day (unless you present in meetings a lot - then they are good)
Got this last week and have to say so far so good. Posting from it at the moment. Hooked it up to tv to watch the match yesterday
Sounds too much like a sanitary towel for my liking...........I-Pad, really? Will it enable me to go carefree windsurfing, skydiving, ballroom dancing & such? I'd hope so.
I read a review of the Motorolla Xoom yesterday that sounded decent, never heard of the notion ink. Are these much better than the Ipad 2?
Not sure if its better or not but in the adam you can expand the memory by adding a 32gb micro sd card it also has 2 usb ports a mini usb port and a hdmi port so you can connect it to the tv. It should qlso be moving to honeycomb in the next while and that should improve it again as its designed for tablets
Think the xoom runs honeycomb already. Only problem with the xoom is the price, could come in at around €850 when it eventually hits here.
It does ship with honeycomb alright but adam was half the price and does the same thing. They should have it working on it in the next few weeks i hope
Honeycomb is the latest version of Android - which is a specific operating system created by Google. This version of Android is specifically for tablets/slates (as opposed to smartphones). For some reason Google like to name versions after desserts. So in other words Honeycomb is to Android (i.e. Google Android Honeycomb) what 7 is to Windows (i.e. Microsoft Windows 7).
